Happy New Year!

I hope you have a wonderful, blessed new year! I will be posting my January Sale of the Month within the next couple of days. Life has been very busy and overflowing with blessings over the last few weeks. I pray yours has been as well.

Thank you for your business of this last year. It has been a fantastic year for Fruitful Vine Creations. I have been so overwhelmed with your kindness and friendships. I feel that I have gained so many new friends. I love hearing your stories and the gracious way you share your lives just a little bit with me. Thank you for all of your encouraging notes. I love to hear about the reactions you have received from others about your lettering and signs. Some are from those you've gifted with the creations we've made together, and others are reactions to what you've done in your house with them. Either way, it is so much fun and rewarding to read about it. Thank you for taking the time to let me know that you are enjoying your Fruitful Vine Creations. I will be updating my gallery with the photos you have sent in (there is still time to submit photos if you would like yours to be included!), as well as some of the very sweet comments you have sent. Love you!

Blessings,

Moms Unite

Speaking of the Nester...

She got together with Kimba from A Soft Place to Land and Melissa from The Inspired Room to create a shopping guide consisting of wonderful ladies who all run their own businesses (to quote Kimba). Instead of purchasing mass-produced stuff for your friends and family for Christmas this year, why not consider supporting one of these moms and give something truly special this year. I have been so astonished at the creativity and talent I have seen from these ladies! I think you will be too.

So, get shopping! And, enjoy.

Blessings,

We had a little contest

The Nester and I were chatting a couple of months ago. We decided together that it would be fun to give away some lettering to one of her readers. So, she had a little giveaway last month. 462 birds entered the contest. I know. It was so much fun reading their comments, hearing their ideas, sharing their enthusiasm about putting words on their walls. Some wanted to put words in their children's rooms, others in their kitchen and laundry rooms. Some wanted to organize their drawers and glass bottles with labels. Still others wanted to put a welcome at their entryway or their name just outside their door. Such beautiful ideas. Then, there were ideas that made me laugh: good kids and bad kids sit here (and there), "CLEAN UP" in a child's room, and my personal fav--Open your pie hole (in French or Italian so that it sounds better) for a kitchen. I really nearly choked on my bagel when I read that. Too funny. Why don't I ever think of funny things like that? If you come over to my house (those who know me of course), and you see something in a foreign language, you just might want to ask me what it means. I might be feeling a bit silly one day and quote it in French (not that I *know* French!).

But, I wanted to share that we did have a winner! Candy and I worked together to find just the right saying for her kitchen. She put them up quickly and sent me a the link to her blog. She sounds pretty happy with her prize. And, I think they look great in her kitchen! Congratulations, Candy! And, thank you, Nester, for the contest. And, happy birthday to you today!

November Specials of the Month

Yes, this month, we have TWO specials! One for Thanksgiving/Autumn, and one for Christmas.
With that in mind, I offer you this:

You can put this on a tile, a glass block, a painted board, a mirror, or on the glass of a frame. It can be a focal point for your Thanksgiving centerpiece. Or, as a wall hanging gracing your dining room. You can use it again next year, and for years to come. Once again, the special is available in three sizes at the special price:
Small: 8"x4" $12 $9.50
Medium: 11.5"x 5.25" $18 $14.50
Large: 16"x8" $25 $20

And, to get you started on your holiday decorating, I am offering this design at 20% off:

Small: 11"x2" $12 $9.50
Medium: 15"x3" $18 $14.50
Large: 20"x4" $25 $20

This design looks great on a front door, greeting your guests. It also looks nice on a painted board, hung with wire. These would make great hostess gifts during the holidays. Have a few extra on hand to give to neighbors, your mailman, friends. If you make a few at a time, the project goes quickly. And, everyone will be delighted with the personal touch of a handmade gift. Order soon as the holidays tend to be very busy days.

Blessings,

New fonts!

I love fonts. They can become an obsession if you let 'em. I've heard there are people out there who are way over the edge when it comes to fonts. I'm not quite there, but I understand how that can happen. I just got a couple of new ones for designing.

Strike your fancy? Let me know what you want designed with them. They are way too much fun.

Blessings,
